Warranty Conditions

RT Equipment Ltd warranties its products for 12 months (within a maximum of 2000 working hours) from the date the products are invoiced. The warranty covers material and assembly defects,  which are proved, followings tests by us to be defective or inadequate for normal use.

• The fault is not the consequence of incorrect use of the product (for example, as  a result of products being used beyond the performance levels indicated on the plates and/or the attached documentation)
• The product has been installed according to the instructions contained in the Service Manual;
• Only original spares have always been used for all reasons and applications (even those not directly involved in the breakdown for which a warranty repair has been requested) as well as the lubricants specified in the Service Manual;
• The scheduled and preventive maintenance indicated in the relative Service Manual has been carried out;
• Repair is carried out in a Service Centre with the suitable technical expertise and equipment;
• No modifications have been made to the product without the specific and formal authorisation of RT Equipment Ltd.
• The product has been properly stored/protected from atmospheric agents;
•  It is not a case of normal working wear;
• It is not the case of “minor” faults compatible with the type of product and its use (differences of colour, scratches, size tolerances, etc.);
• All the relevant laws have been observed

RT Equipment Ltd, at its option will replace or repair for the original purchaser, free of charge, any part or parts of the product, found upon examination by to be defective in material or workmanship, or both. This warranty excludes normal wearing parts such as cylinder seals, bushings and any other components that are expected to wear in the normal course of use.

There is no other express warranty. RT Equipment Ltd make no representation or warranty, express or implied, or merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or any other representation of warranty. Our obligations under this warranty are limited to repair or replacement of any defective parts of the product and we assume no liability for incidental, special or consequential damages.

To the extent allowed by applicable law, RT Equipment Ltd’s liability arising out of supplying or use of equipment shall in no case exceed the contract price. Repair or replacement will be the sole and exclusive remedy.
